You're going away for awhile but like any responsible pet parent, you're stressed about who is going to care for your animals. You could ask a friend or neighbor but you want someone knowledgeable and passionate about animals and pet care. You could board your pets but you don't want to disrupt their routine or leave them in an environment that is unfamiliar to them.

You want to thoroughly enjoy your vacation knowing that your pets are equally relaxed living it up in the comfort of their own home as the center of attention. Enter our Pet Sitting service!

A trained, insured, bonded, and background-checked Pet Care Specialist will keep your pets happy in their own homes, maintain their routine, and provide the companionship they miss while you're away. We've had some pet parents complain that their pets barely noticed they were gone (oops!). In short, our Pet Sitting Service keeps your furry loved ones comfortable. After all, even though you're gone, they'll still have their food bowl, their bed, their couch, their toys, and their familiar surroundings.

For the purrers

Each visit consists of playtime, cuddle time (if they're in the mood, we know sometimes kitties like to do their own thing!), food and water repletion, and litter box maintenance. Much purring will occur but don't feel bad -- they'll be thinking of you the whole time.

For the woofers

We will come as many times per day as you would like so your pup's routine stays undisrupted. We'll go on an energetic walk and explore the sidewalks of the city, or the dog runs if you prefer. Food and water needs will be tended to and lots of snuggling to top it all off.

For the others

There are other animals besides dogs and cats! We have birds, iguanas, ferrets, bunnies, and even a millipede in our client roster so we can help you with whatever needs you may have.

Special needs?

If your animal has medical needs, we have the experience to handle it. Our veterinary technicians can administer insulin injections, subcutaneous fluids, and oral medications. We know it's especially important for special needs animals to stay on their routine and we will make every effort to make that happen. >> More Info

House-related stuff

When you leave for awhile, there are things around the house that need tending to as well. We would be happy to bring in the mail, turn on lights, or water the plants for you while we're there.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, our experience and defined protocols enable us to effectively and efficiently handle it. Additionally, veterinarians and veterinary technicians on staff can properly recognize and sort through medical issues that occur and ensure that proper medical attention is sought.

30-minute visit: $18

60-minute visit: $34

Additional Pet Charge:

$3 per additional dog or per cat over 3 cats for 30-minute visit
$6 per additional dog or per cat over 3 cats for 60-minute visit

Rush Booking Charge: Applies when a visit is scheduled less than 48 hours before visit is to take place

If you are a PhilaPets pet parent who uses PhilaPets on a weekly basis, you will enjoy reduced pricing for certain types of visits as follows:

*Note: PhilaPets core-hours are 8am-8pm Monday through Friday

Recurring Visits: Pet parents who have a fixed schedule of at least one visit on a recurring basis each week during our core hours (Examples: Monday through Friday at 12pm, Mondays and Tuesdays at 2pm)

$16 for 30-minute visit
$30 for 60-minute visit.
PhilaPets Perk!! Pet parents who sign up for Recurring Visits enjoy these discounted rates for As-needed Visits too!

As-needed Visits: Visits that are scheduled to be performed during our core hours on an as-needed basis.

Pet parents who need at least two visits per week but have a varied schedule:

30-minute visit: $17
60-minute visit: $32
Note: Visits will originally be scheduled at the full rate ($18 for 30-minute visit, $34 for 60-minute visit). The adjusted rate will be applied in the form of a discount at the end of each month if at least two visits were scheduled on a weekly basis.

Off-hours Visits: Visits that are scheduled to be performed outside of our core hours (so 6-8am time slot and 8-10pm time slot Monday through Friday or on weekends):

30-minute walk: $18
60-minute walk: $34
