We're Back!
It has been a long time since we have sent out our newsletter. We have been happy, busy little bees taking care of pets across Philadelphia during these summer months.
Things have started to settle down and we are ready to get back to our regular postings. We have a lot to share, so let's get started!

Mutt Strut
Team PhilaPets.com is walking to save Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and orphaned animals at the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
On Saturday, October 6, we will participate in the PAWS Mutt Strut, which will bring 1,000+ animal lovers and their pets together for a 1.5-mile walk through FDR Park.
Last year, your generous contributions helped us raise over $3,000 for the Red Cross so they could help the needy families in Philadelphia. Now let's try and do the same for the animals of our city.
Make a donation of $50 or more to sponsor Team PhilaPets.com and receive $15 in PhilaPets Cash good towards any future pet sitting service.

PhilaPets Customer Satisfaction Survey
Thank you to everyone that has responded to the PhilaPets customer satisfaction survey. We've had over 150 responses so far!
Many people have given very helpful feedback, including how we can further improve our services and our Web site. We have been reviewing all of your suggestions and have been brainstorming how to incorporate them so that we can optimize your PhilaPets experience.
The survey is totally anonymous and is being hosted by SurveyMonkey. For those of you that have requested follow up and provided your contact information, we will be getting back to you shortly.

What: Carnivale of the Dogs
When: Saturday September 8, 2007 [10:00a - 2:00p]
Where: Rittenhouse Square 18th & Walnut Streets, Philadelphia, PA Map
Commerce Bank and UPenn School of Veterinary Medicine are hosting the 3rd annual Carnivale of the Dogs and PhilaPets will be there too!.
There will be lots of dog friendly activities, like: Doggy Costume Parade, Free Dog Portraits and Caricatures, Live Music, "Ask the Vet", and Children's Story Time
PhilaPets will be working with adoptable dogs from the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS, previously PACCA). Come on down and say hello!

The Dog Guide is a Web site that provides a wealth of information on all aspects of dog care. The site contains a blog that is updated on a regular basis as well as an option of "asking the dog guide"; questions submitted are answered via the blog. So if you have questions on raising your pup, check out the dog guide.
PhilaPets' very own Claire and Danny are writers for this great Web site in both the Dog Blog and Ask the Dog Guide!
